Ellie (who adores her routines and her beloved toy monkey) faced a major drama – Monkey mysteriously went missing! 😱
Understandably, Ellie was very upset. But with lots of reassurance from the team (who promised a full-scale investigation), she coped brilliantly. Staff turned the house upside down searching – drawers, bags, garden, you name it. The whole team got involved – it became the Great Jemini Monkey Hunt of 2025! 🕵️♀️🕵️♂️
Eventually, we cracked the case
– Monkey had accidentally ended up at her sister Jade’s house. Phew!
Cue Lauren (Ellie’s fantastic keyworker), who came up with a clever plan – she told Ellie that Monkey had gone on holiday. Photos were sent, stories were made up… and when Monkey finally “returned from holiday,” Ellie was absolutely over the moon. Smiles all round.
Just one of those lovely moments that remind us why we do what we do.
