Thorpe Park in Surrey is a place of wonder and delight for Michael. Home to more than 25 rides, it’s a special destination in every season. He enjoyed a visit in the summer and was back again in November for even more thrills and spills!

Accessible to all…

Thorpe Park has a special Ride Access Pass for visitors who may find it difficult waiting in a conventional queue. This allows us to pre-book rides and enter via a dedicated entrance, helping us to ensure the day runs smoothly.

The team at Thorpe has also put together a great guide for accessibility, highlighting the rides that have flashing lights or lighting effects, so we all know what to expect.

There are also quiet zones allocated throughout the theme park and even a quiet room with dimmable lighting if needed… all helping to make for an enjoyable experience for all.

It’s Michael’s Nemesis… Inferno style!

One of the first rides for Michael was Nemesis Inferno, the park’s only inverted roller coaster!

With speeds up to 50mph and legs dangling below, it’s a stomach-turning, stomach-churning ride of a lifetime! It’s not for everyone, but Michael, as you can see, absolutely loved it!.. and he took Lanre along for the ride!

Michael takes on the Samurai!

Once again Michael took xx with him – this time Samurai was the chosen ride – although I’m not sure xx was as keen on this one! Spinning 360 degrees 60ft above the ground is quite a challenge, but Michael took it in his stride – he’s quite the daredevil!

After a tiring day spent exploring the park and trying out lots of different rides, there’s only one way to round off the adventure – a doughnut!

Until next time ❤️
